Olivia Colman’s unmitigated joy for her Golden Globes competitors, Emma Corrin and Jodie Foster, has been praised by fans on Twitter.

At Sunday night’s ceremony (28 February), Corrin won the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a TV Series – Drama for playing Princess Diana in The Crown, and Foster won Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for starring as defence attorney Nancy Hollander in The Mauritanian.

Colman was also nominated in both categories – for playing the Queen in The Crown and for her role in The Father – and she took the news of her defeat extremely well.
