Global Yellow Pages enters Ice Cream Franchise business

Global Yellow Pages Limited announced that it has acquired the IP rights for Wendy’s Supa Sundaes brand. The purchase consideration is A$ 10million. It has also signed a Licence Agreement with Asia Food Retail Group for the use of the Wendy’s Supa Sundaes brand in Australia, New Zealand and other agreed territories. There are currently over 200 stores across Australia and over 30 stores in New Zealand. Global Yellow Pages will receive the greater of a minimum annual fee or a percentage of retail sales as royalties. Global Yellow Pages sees significant potential for the Wendy’s Supa Sundaes brand to grow in Asia, especially China.
