Glacier Bancorp: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) _ Glacier Bancorp Inc. (GBCI) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter profit of $57.4 million.

The Kalispell, Montana-based bank said it had earnings of 62 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 61 cents per share.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $173.7 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $164.9 million, also exceeding Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $161.5 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $210.5 million, or $2.38 per share. Revenue was reported as $634.2 million.

Glacier Bancorp shares have fallen slightly more than 3% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $44.48, a rise of slightly more than 3% in the last 12 months.
