Gigi Hadid swears by this moisturiser – and it's now 20% off

When Gig Hadid dropped her new mum skincare and makeup routine earlier this year, I took note of everything. I particularly paid attention when Gigi shared the current moisturiser she was loving after explaining that her skin is always dry, especially in the winter. As someone whose skin barrier is more sensitive than Normal People's Connell, I know from painful experience how important it is to have a soothing moisturiser on hand, especially as it's getting colder out there.

After I spotted it in Gigi's routine, I started to spot Dr.Jart+'s Ceramidin Cream everywhere. And the best bit? It's got 20% off for Black Friday, meaning the tube is just under a tenner. Ah-mazing, right?

From experience, I can tell you that not all moisturisers are created equal, especially ones that are designed to be deeply hydrating.

When I finally got my hands on Ceramidin Cream I was slightly apprehensive that it would be greasy and leave me looking like I was cosplaying Megan Fox's recent MTV VMAs wet look.

Thankfully this was not the case at all.

While a lot of richer moisturisers often feel oily, Ceramidin (named after it's ceramide-packed ingredient list) feels more like a balm, but not in that horrible silicone mattifying way.

It really does feel like your skin is wearing a coat when you put this on. A soothing, hydrating coat that cocoons you and immediately takes away any tightness or irritating tingling that my fellow sensitive skin sufferers will know all too well.

Unlike my other more soothing moisturisers, I have wanted to reach for Ceramidin every day, not just when my skin is on the brink of a meltdown.

As you can see above where I'm wearing nothing but the moisturiser, it gives a really beautiful glow and actually gives the perfect slip for makeup application.

Gigi really was right on this one.
