General manager of Enviro-Hub Holdings’ subsidiary investigated by CPIB
The general manager was suspended from his official duties till further notice.
The general manager of Enviro-Hub Holdings’ L23
80.25%-owned subsidiary, HLS Environmental, was interviewed by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) around Aug 31.
According to Enviro-Hub, the investigation is an ongoing one and no charges have been filed against the general manager yet.
The company says it was not involved in the interview process by CPIB, adding that it is currently unaware of any impropriety or offence committed by the general manager. That said, the group will temporarily suspend the general manager’s official duties “until further notice”.
As at 9.45am, shares in Enviro-Hub are trading 0.3 cents lower or 11.11% down at 2.4 cents.
