Ford (F) Stock Sinks As Market Gains: What You Should Know

Ford (F) closed at $9.31 in the latest trading session, marking a -0.69% move from the prior day. This move lagged the S&P 500's daily gain of 0.37%. At the same time, the Dow added 0.44%, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq gained 0.61%.

Prior to today's trading, shares of the automaker had lost 0.85% over the past month. This has outpaced the Auto-Tires-Trucks sector's loss of 3.04% and lagged the S&P 500's gain of 1.82% in that time.

On that day, F is projected to report earnings of $0.33 per share, which would represent a year-over-year decline of 23.26%.
