Need a facelift? Here’s how much non-invasive cosmetic procedures will cost you.

There’s no shame in admitting that age has caught up with you. It happens to the best of us. Sometimes, we’re so busy with life and going through different stages and one day, we look in the mirror and wonder who is that person staring back at us.

For some, signs of aging can appear much sooner than expected. But sometimes, it’s nice to have a “facelift” of sorts just to breathe new life into our outlook. And the best part is, you don’t have to go under the knife or be at risk of coming out of the surgical theatre looking like Frankenstein.

It can be as easy as going for a facial sometimes, but if you’re looking for something a little more permanent, consider these non-invasive cosmetic procedures that won’t break the bank:

1. Dermal Fillers

This is a common procedure that is often carried out within 15 minutes per session. Dermal fillers, or Hyaluronic acid fillers, is considered to be natural and only last about 6 to 12 months. The synthetic version of this, poly-L-lactic acid and calcium hydroxyapatite, last from one to two years. It can be applied to your cheeks, lips, nose and chin. The fillers are injected into your skin and typically, you will see a little bruising for a day or two after the procedure. It can be used to even out the face from wrinkles or indents. The cost of this procedure starts from $400 onwards.

2. Laser skin treatments

For those who have deep acne scars that are not fixable by applying creams and such, laser skin treatments are available. Those who suffer from pigmentation problems may also consider the Fractional Laser treatment to revamp the skin. You will need to go in for multiple sessions for the full treatment and sessions start from $200 each.

3. Invisalign

If you’re thinking of putting braces on later on in your life, it can be a little embarrassing as well as painful. But if you are really unhappy with the way your teeth look, then your best option is to go with Invisalign. This invisible alternative to braces is a great way to effectively straighten your teeth without your confidence taking a hit. Depending on the condition of your teeth, the Invisalign can cost anywhere from $4500 – $7500. On average, adults will be wearing the Invisalign retainer for about 12 months. So, you will be flashing those perfect pearly whites in no time!

4. Non-surgical face lift – Thermage

Thermage is radiofrequency (RF) treatment, one way for you to have that much-needed facelift without you looking like you have had something done. It is subtle and quick. A radiofrequency device is used on the skin to heat the deep, collagen-rich layers, activating it to produce more collagen. Collagen improves skin smoothness and texture, giving your face that younger, brighter look. Thermage will set you back anywhere from $2800 to $4500.

5. LASIK

If you have worn glasses or contact lenses all your life then you will be familiar with the hassle of having to go for eye check-ups every now and then. Not to mention, it may be unsightly to wear glasses to formal events and putting on contact lenses for prolonged periods can be drying and uncomfortable. That is why some people opt for LASIK surgery, in which the eyesight is corrected using a laser. The entire procedure can be done within 20 minutes and recovery time is close to none. LASIK surgery can cost upwards of $3600 but you will never have to spend a cent on glasses or contact lenses again!
