European stocks rebound at open

Europe's main stock markets rebounded at the start of trading on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index climbing back above 7,000 points towards its record-high level reached this week.

The FTSE opened up 0.4 percent at 7,003.16 points compared with the close on Thursday.

In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 gained 0.4 percent to 10,450.06 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.4 percent to 4,424.25.
