EuroMillions results: What are the winning numbers and did anyone win the jackpot?

A jackpot of £113 million was up for grabs tonight
A jackpot of £113 million was up for grabs tonight

Tonight's EuroMillions draw saw no-one take home the £113m jackpot, meaning it will now roll over to next Tuesday when the jackpot will be £121m.

However, the draw was a EuroMillions Mega Week draw, so three UK ticket-holders are the winners of a guaranteed £1m prize and a trip to Japan.

For more details about tonight's draw and to find out if you won a EuroMillions prize, read on below:

EuroMillions: 05, 07, 26, 36, 39

Lucky stars: 02 and 10

Thunderball numbers:  03, 13, 15, 16, 18

Thunderball: 04

It's also Mega Week, a monthly promotion which gives UK players an even better chance of winning some cash, and even a holiday to Japan.

How can I find out the results?

The results of the draw are available online immediately on the EuroMillions website.

How can I play EuroMillions next time?

Buy a ticket online from the official website or download the app for Apple or Android. You can also pop into one of the authorised retailers in your area.

To play, choose five numbers from 1 to 50 and two Lucky Stars from 1 to 12. Or select Lucky Dip.

Every time you play you will automatically be given a randomly-generated Millionaire Maker entry. The draw will take place on the day of the lotto draw you have entered.

The EuroMillions draw takes place every Tuesday and Friday in Paris.

EuroMillions costs £2.50 for each ticket.

What is UK Millionaire Maker?

It's a free additional game included on every EuroMillions ticket sold in the UK.

For every line of EuroMillions numbers purchased, a code is printed onto the ticket which is entered into the raffle draw for the chance to win one of two prizes of £1 million each.

It also includes the chance to win other non-cash prizes in the last Tuesday and Friday draws of each month in what is known as Mega Week.

How big can the EuroMillions jackpot get?

The EuroMillions jackpot grows each time it's not won, up to a €190 million maximum.

Once this maximum jackpot cap is reached, any additional prize money will be shared between winners of the next prize-winning level and the game can only roll once more before it must be won.

If the jackpot is not won after one roll, the full jackpot prize fund will roll down to the next winning prize tier.

What are the odds of winning EuroMillions?

The odds of scooping the jackpot are 1 in 139,838,160, and the overall odds of winning a EuroMillions prize are 1 in 13.

What is the largest EuroMillions jackpot ever won?

The largest EuroMillions jackpot of €190 million was won by UK residents Adrian and Gillian Bayford on 12th August 2012. The couple have since divorced.

Did you know?

EuroMillions is a transnational lottery. It was launched in February of 2004 by France's Française des Jeux, Spain's Loterías y Apuestas del Estado and the United Kingdom's Camelot.

The first draw was held on Friday, February 13th 2004 in Paris. Initially, only the UK, France and Spain took part, with the Austrian, Belgian, Irish, Luxembourgish, Portuguese and Swiss lotteries joining for the October 8th 2004 draw.

All prizes, including the jackpot, are tax-free (except in Switzerland, Spain and Portugal since 2013) and are paid as a lump sum.

Friday has proved to be the luckiest day for EuroMillions players, with 299 jackpots being won on the final day of the working week compared to just 66 on a Tuesday.

UK players have won more more than £7 billion in combined prizes since the first EuroMillions draw, including 65 jackpot winners. France has proved to be the most successful of the nine participating countries so far.

Have a great weekend

That's about it from us here, but if you didn't win anything tonight, then don't worry - there's always next week.

And, until then, have a great bank holiday weekend.

EuroMillions jackpot rolls over

So it looks like no-one won the £113m jackpot, which will now roll over to next Tuesday. This will mean people entering next week will have the chance to win an estimated £121m.

Just think how many more private chefs and how much more champers you can buy with that.

Just the UK Millionaire Maker codes to go

The UK Millionaire Maker codes haven't been released yet, but it's fair to say that, whoever ends up bagging some cash tonight, might need to take some advice from former Lottery winner Mark Gardiner.

After a couple of celebratory mojitos of course.

The numbers are: 05, 07, 26, 36, 39

And the lucky stars: 02, 10

The final countdown

So it looks like results from the EuroMillions draw will come in in 5 minutes, which is just enough time to plan your celebration dance.

Thunderball

The Thunderball results are in.

The numbers are: 3, 13, 15, 16, 18

And the Thunderball is 4

The results from tonight's EuroMillions draw still aren't in though, so here's some advice from previous winners on what to do after bagging the jackpot. Just in case.

While we wait...

There's time for a video - let's hope your friends aren't as mean as this guy's:

A few minutes to go

With just a few minutes to go, what could you spend £113m on?

  1. Over 48 million tall Latte's at Starbucks

  2. Artwork by Jean-Michel Basquiat, whose painting last week went for £85m

  3. Over 700,000 bottles of Cristal champagne

  4. 450,000 private chefs for a night

  5. 2,400 diamond manicures

  6. Almost one and a half Cristiano Ronaldos

7:45PM

Is a win likely?

The odds of winning a EuroMillions prize are actually not that bad, at 1 in 13, but if you're going for the big jackpot, it might be a little tougher, at 1 in 140 million.

You're less likely to win tonight's jackpot than:

  • Win an Olympic gold medal, for which you have a 1 in 662,000 chance

  • Be crushed by a meteor, with odds of 1 in 700,000

  • Bowl a 300 game, which you have a 1 in 11,500 chance of doing

  • Be hospitalised by a trouser-related accident. This has odds of 1 in 10,000

7:35PM

Fit for a King

You know that saying: ‘Only love can make a home.' That may be true, but a load of money can make a really nice house.

Here are some of the properties you could afford if you land the big money in tonight's jackpot.

  1. The Promised Land. Oprah Winfrey bought the 42-acre property, known as The Promised Land, for $50m.

  2. One Hyde Park. Who said buying a property in London is expensive? Normal London properties have nothing on the apartments at One Hyde Park with one going for £75m.

  3. Xanadu 2.0. Bill Gates' $123m mansion. It's meant to be pretty nice...

And the properties just out of your reach.

  1. The Playboy Mansion. It's meant to be worth £138m. Maybe work on your bargaining skills.

  2. Buckingham Palace. Yes it may not be up for sale, but even if it was, it might be a little out of your price range, even if you win the EuroMillions, at £1bn.

Keep calm and buy a ticket

We don’t mean to panic you, but you only have five minutes left to buy a ticket for tonight’s Euromillions.

Your best bet is to probably buy a ticket online from the official website or download the app for Apple or Android.

7:20PM

It’s not a competition but... who would you be richer than?

We all know comparing who has more money is uncouth, but, even so, wouldn’t you like to know which celebrities you’d be richer than if you won tonight’s EuroMillions?

Bradley Cooper

Poor Bradley with his rock hard abs and tousled hair. Yes, he may have the looks but his worth is only a measly £78m. If you took him out for dinner after winning the EuroMillions, you’d probably have to pay.

via GIPHY

Gwyneth Paltrow

As the founder of Goop, Paltrow told the world to buy toothpaste costing £97. Yeah. £97. But your £113m win would make Paltrow’s £46m look paltry

Ed Sheeran

His estimated net worth is £50m, which just goes to prove, there's only so far you can get with a guitar and catchy pop tunes. Move over Ed for the new millionaire in town.

7:00PM

Welcome

Good afternoon and welcome to The Telegraph’s EuroMillions liveblog. And, as I always say, what better way to kick off a long weekend than to win £113m and pop open a bottle of bubbly.

‘But the chances of winning are so low,’ you may say.

True, but there are a few things you can do to bump up your luck tonight.

  1. Move to Romford, the luckiest town for lottery wins. Your family will understand.

  2. Change your name to John or Margaret. More lottery winners have had these names than any others. If these aren’t to your fancy, try David or Susan - the second luckiest names.

  3. Swap your birthday to any date between mid March and mid April. They do say people with the star sign Aries are energetic. Well it might be because they’re loaded, as it's the most likely star sign to win the lottery.

  4. Become a builder. Yes, you may never have picked up a hammer in your life, but if you want the big bucks, then it might be your best bet. The lottery has made 331 builders millionaires.

  5. Pick the number 44 as one of your numbers. At the moment, it’s the most frequently drawn ball. But, then again, it’s the lottery, so the chance of it coming up is actually the same as any other number.
