Dow Inc. (DOW) Dips More Than Broader Markets: What You Should Know

Dow Inc. (DOW) closed the most recent trading day at $43.39, moving -1.16% from the previous trading session. This move lagged the S&P 500's daily loss of 1.03%. Meanwhile, the Dow lost 1.11%, and the Nasdaq, a tech-heavy index, lost 0.13%.

Heading into today, shares of the materials science had lost 19.39% over the past month, lagging the Basic Materials sector's loss of 12.31% and the S&P 500's loss of 10.4% in that time.

Wall Street will be looking for positivity from Dow Inc. as it approaches its next earnings report date. This is expected to be October 20, 2022.
