Deals of the day-Mergers and acquisitions

March 30 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1950 GMT on Thursday:

** Italy's government said negotiations were progressing with Germany's Lufthansa over the sale of a minority stake in ITA Airways, after the two companies jointly approved the Italian carrier's industrial plan.

** E-commerce firm JD.com Inc said it planned to spin off its property and industrial units and list them on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the latest revamp in the Chinese technology sector after a sweeping regulatory crackdown. ** CNH Industrial said that it had agreed to buy Hemisphere GNSS, a high-performance satellite positioning technology company, for $175 million to improve automation in its agriculture and construction businesses.

** SoftBank Group said it would recognise a 359.6 billion yen ($2.7 billion) gain from the transfer of a stake in Alibaba Group Holdings to a wholly-owned subsidiary called Shiodome Project 17 GK.

** Singapore's GIC will jointly acquire Works Human Intelligence, a human-resources software provider in Japan, for $2.6 billion, Japan's Nikkei business daily reported on its website.

** Two proxy advisers have separately recommended that shareholders of Spanish builder Ferrovial approve a board-proposed merger that would relocate its headquarters to the Netherlands, although both acknowledged some collateral effects.

** Chinese regulators held a meeting with banks to gauge their interest in taking over Silicon Valley Bank's stake in a local joint venture, Bloomberg News reported.

** The world's biggest lockmaker Assa Abloy has signed an agreement to acquire Mottura Serrature di sicurezza Spa, an Italian manufacturer of high security residential armored lock cases and security cylinders, the Swedish company said.

** Singapore-based Mapletree Logistics Trust announced plans to acquire a few logistics properties in Japan, Australia and South Korea for a combined value of S$913.6 million ($686.97 million).

** Vietnam's largest conglomerate Vingroup is in discussions to sell a stake in its shopping mall arm as it seeks to bring in strategic investors, five sources told Reuters on Wednesday. ** Concentrix Corp will buy Paris-based outsourcing and consultancy firm Webhelp in a $4.8 billion deal, the business services provider said on Wednesday, to expand outside North America and add clients in fast-growing markets. ** Credit Suisse Group AG said on Wednesday it has withdrawn certain proposals to the 2023 annual general meeting following the lender's recent merger with UBS Group AG.
