DBS commits to 100% renewable energy usage by 2030

It will install solar panels in its offices and apply for renewable energy certificates.

DBS commits to using 100% renewable energy for its operations after it joined the RE100 global renewable energy campaign.

According to a press release, this makes DBS the first Asian bank to do so.

The bank set to reach the target by 2030 and extend it to its global operations.

It will install solar panels in its Changi Business Park office building and claim Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) from solar energy companies.
