Cronos: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

TORONTO (AP) _ Cronos Group Inc. (CRON) on Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $597.2 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

The Toronto-based company said it had profit of 40 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 2 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 3 cents per share.

The cannabis company posted revenue of $10.1 million in the period, which missed Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $10.4 million.

Cronos shares have declined 22% since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 5.5% in the last 12 months.
