Credit Acceptance (CACC) Reports Q1 Loss, Tops Revenue Estimates

Credit Acceptance (CACC) came out with a quarterly loss of $4.61 per share versus the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $4.15. This compares to earnings of $8.08 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of -211.08%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this auto financing company would post earnings of $8.96 per share when it actually produced earnings of $8.60, delivering a surprise of -4.02%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates just once.

Credit Acceptance, which belongs to the Zacks Financial - Consumer Loans industry, posted revenues of $389.10 million for the quarter ended March 2020, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 14.64%.
