Colliers Singapore names 2 new directors

by Cheryl Tay

In a bid to strengthen its market position, property consultant Colliers International has announced two new senior appointments for its operations in Singapore, effective 1 January.

Marcus Loo (pictured) has been named Executive Director for Office Services. Loo joined the company in 2002 as Assistant Manager in the office services division, and has two years of experience in real estate, particularly in the office leasing market.

Meanwhile, Calvin Yeo has been appointed as Deputy Managing Director for Client Services. Yeo headed the Singapore Office Services division from 2001 to last year, wherein he has successfully developed Colliers' office leasing business line. Backed by over 20 years of real estate experience, he will focus on strengthening Colliers' integrated service offerings to clients.

"The two appointments are part of Colliers' continuous efforts to strengthen our position in the market. We want to grow our market share in tenant representation for office leasing and to develop our service offerings across business lines, such as Project Management as well as Facilities and Lease Management. With their wealth of experience, both Marcus and Calvin stand in good stead to advise clients in making sound real estate decisions," noted Dennis Yeo, Managing Director of Colliers International Singapore.Cheryl Tay, Editor of CommericalGuru, wrote this story.
