China sees apparent natural gas consumption rising by 10 percent in 2017

SHANGHAI (Reuters) - China expects its apparent natural gas consumption to rise over 10 percent year-on-year to around 230 billion cubic metres (bcm) this year, the official Xinhua news agency said on Saturday citing a report from the National Energy Administration.

The country's apparent natural gas consumption reached 114.6 bcm in the first half of this year, up 15.2 percent from the same period a year earlier.
