China Aviation Oil seeks up to 1.1 mln barrels of jet fuel for July

SINGAPORE, May 26 (Reuters) - China Aviation Oil is seeking up to 1.1 million barrels of jet fuel for delivery in July, a tender document seen on Tuesday showed.

The company is seeking three cargoes of 240,000 to 300,000 barrels each of the aviation fuel for loading from either South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia or Thailand over July 1 to 10, July 11 to 20 and July 21 to 31.

It is also seeking 25,000 tonnes or about 200,000 barrels of jet fuel for delivery into Huangpu, China, over July 1 to 10.

The tender closes on May 28 and is valid until May 29. China's jet fuel demand is expected to grow by about 9 to 10 percent this year, in line with last year, buoyed by firm demand for air travel, traders said. (Reporting by Jessica Jaganathan; Editing by Dale Hudson)
