The Chemical Brothers, Take That among acts at Apple Music Festival

The Chemical Brothers have been added to the Apple Music Festival line-up

Apple used its Beats 1 radio to announce five new acts lined up for the Apple Music Festival running from September 19 to 28.

The Weeknd, The Chemical Brothers, Take That, Leon Bridges and James Bay will join the ten-day event later this month.

Additional acts at the festival include Florence and The Machine, Pharrell Williams and Disclosure.

The festival replaces Apple's annual iTunes festival, which lasted for 30 days. Like the previous event, the new Music Festival features a free concert series showcasing a variety of artists.

Each performance will be live and broadcast worldwide live and on-demand via Apple Music.
