Cheapest parking places around Raffles Place and the CBD 2017

With the ever rising price of commodities and slow economy, the rather steep accommodation and parking rates continue to bother Singaporeans of all stripes. Demand for parking in and around the CBD (Central Business District) area and the Raffles Place area during peak hours can make parking rates go through the roof. To save time and effort, you can look at some of the most reasonably priced parking spots near those two areas. 

 

Clifford Centre


United Industrial Corporation Limited

Located at 24 Raffles Place, Clifford Centre may not be the cheapest place in town to park your car but it is still amongst the cheapest car park around Raffles Place. On weekdays (Mondays to Fridays) and Saturdays, from 7AM to 5PM the car park charges you S$5.00 per hour.

After 5PM, it charges you a flat S$3.00 per entry from 5PM to 11PM. The car park closes at 11PM on Mondays to Saturdays.

The charges are the same on Sundays as well. 

 

One Raffles Place

At 1 Raffles Place you can find One Raffles Place, one of the tallest buildings in Singapore. On weekdays (Mondays to Fridays), you would be charged a flat S$2.62 per half-hour from 7AM to 5PM. After 5PM, you would be charged S$3.53 per entry until 7AM the next day. 

On Saturdays, you would need to pay a fixed S$2.35 per entry from anytime between 7AM to 7AM the next day.

On Sundays and Public Holidays, the fees are the same as those on Saturdays. 

 

Republic Plaza

At Republic Plaza located on 9 Raffles Place, the fees are not the lowest in the city but amongst the lowest in the Raffles Place area. On weekdays, from 7AM to 5PM, the fee is a flat S$3.00 per 30 minute. After 5PM, again, the fee is a flat S$3.50 per entry.

On Saturdays, the fees are a fixed S3.50 per entry from anytime between 7AM to 7AM the next day. And on Sundays or Public Holidays, the rate is also a flat S$3.50 per entry from 7AM on a given day to 7AM the next day. 

 

UOB Plaza

Another cheap option is to use the facilities at UOB Plaza located at 80 Raffles Place. From Mondays to Fridays, you will have to pay a flat rate of S$3.00 per 30 minutes of parking from 7AM to 6PM. From 6PM onwards until 12AM (midnight), a fixed fee of S$4.00 is charged per entry. The same fixed fee of S$4.00 is charged per entry from 12AM to 7AM the next morning.

On Saturdays, a fixed fee is charged from 7AM to 12AM of S$4.00 per entry. The same fixed amount is charged in parking fee per entry from 12AM to 7AM the next morning.

On Sundays and Public Holidays, the rate is the same as on Saturdays. 

 

8 Shenton Way

At 8 Shenton Way, the fees are S$2.30 per 30 minutes from 7AM to 6PM on weekdays (Mondays to Fridays). After 6PM until 6:59AM the following morning, the parking fee is a fixed S$2.80 per entry.

On Saturdays, a fixed fee of S$2.30 per 30 minutes is charged from 7AM to 1PM. From 1PM to 6:59AM the next day, a fixed fee of $2.80 per entry is charged.

On Sundays and Public Holidays, the fee is a flat S$2.80 for every entry from 7AM to 7AM the following day. 

 

Bugis+

At Bugis+ (shopping centre) located at 201 Victoria Street, the fee is S$1.28 for the 1st hour and S$0.54 for every subsequent 15 minutes from 8AM to 5:59PM on weekdays (Mondays to Fridays). From 6PM to 7:59AM on the next day, a fixed fee of S$3.21 is charged per entry.

On Saturdays, the first 2 hours of parking incur you a fee of S$3.21 and every subsequent 15 minutes of parking from 8AM to 8PM cost you another $$0.54.

The parking fees on Sundays and Public Holidays are the same as those on Saturdays. 

 

Burlington Square

Burlington Square at 175 Bencoolen Street is another carpark near the CBD (Central Business District) offering relatively affordable rates. On weekdays, they charge S$0.04 for every minute from 7AM to 4:59PM and S$2.20 for every entry from 5PM to 6:59AM the following day.

On Saturdays, the fee is S$3.20 for the first 3 hours and S$1.80 for every subsequent half an hour of parking between 7AM to 4:59PM. From 5PM onwards, the fee is a flat S$2.20 per entry until 6:59AM.

The fees are the same on Sundays and Public Holidays. 

 

Capitol Piazza

Located at 13 Stamford Road, this shopping centre offers parking rates of S$2.00 for the 1st hour and S$0.40 for every subsequent 15 minutes from 11AM to 5:59PM on weekdays. After 6PM, the fee changes to a fixed S$3.00 per entry until 10:59AM the following day.

On Saturdays, the fees are S$2.00 for the first two hours and S$0.40 for every 15 minutes thereafter from 11AM to 11AM the next day.

On Sundays and Public Holidays, the fees are the same as on Saturdays.

 

Neil Road (off-street)

At Neil Road, you can park for S$1.00 per half an hour from 7AM to 5PM on weekdays (Mondays to Fridays). After 5PM, the rate drops to S$0.50 per 30 minutes until 7AM the next morning. Parking charges are capped at S$4.00 from 10:30PM to 7AM the next morning.

The fees are the same on Saturdays as on weekdays.

On Sundays and Public Holidays, S$0.50 per 30 minutes is charged as parking fee from 7AM to 7AM the next day. But, you would not have to pay any more than S$4.00 for parking from 10:30PM to 7AM the next day. 

 

Novotel Clarke Quay

Located at 177A River Valley Road, Novotel Clarke Quay charges a flat S$1.07 per hour from 7AM to 5PM on weekdays. After 5PM, a fixed fee of S$3.21 per entry is charged until 7AM the next day. On weekdays, you would need to pay a flat S$3.21 per entry from 5PM to 7AM the following day.

On Saturdays, a flat rate of S$1.07 per hour is charged from 7AM to 1PM. Afterwards, a fixed fee of S$3.21 per entry is charged.

On Sundays and Public Holidays, the fee is a fixed S$3.21 per entry. 

 

Riverside Point Car Park

Located at 30 Merchant Road, Riverside Point Car Park is amongst the cheapest place around the CBD and Raffles Place. On weekdays (Mondays to Fridays), you pay S$2.30 for the first hour and S$1.00 for every subsequent half an hour from 6AM to 5PM. Afterwards, a fixed fee of S$3.50 per entry is charged until 6AM.

On Saturdays, the fees are the same as on weekends. 

A fixed fee of S$3.50 per entry from 6AM to 6AM the next day is charged on Sundays and Public Holidays.
