Chart of the Day: Will Singapore gaming revenues recover this year?

It is expected to uptick 1% to US$4.2b.

Singapore's gaming revenues may see an improvement this year compared to 2016 as Citi Research analysts expect.

In 2015, Singapore's gross gaming revenue went down 20% to US$4.8b. Analysts expect GGR to be US$4.2b in 2016, down 12% YoY.

For this year, GGR is expected to see a slight improvement at US$4.3b, 1% up from 2016. GGR from Marina Bay Sands will still make the bulk of GGR at US$2.57b, while Resorts World Sentosa will contribute US$1.77b.
