BrightSphere Investment Group: 2Q Earnings Snapshot

LONDON (AP) _ BrightSphere Investment Group (BSIG) on Thursday reported second-quarter earnings of $28 million.

The London-based company said it had net income of 31 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 45 cents per share.

The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 45 cents per share.

The asset manager posted revenue of $207.1 million in the period.

BrightSphere Investment Group shares have declined 30% since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 7.5% in the last 12 months.
