Hooray! It is finally 1 December 2020 and we can finally start using our highly anticipated $100 SingapoRediscovers vouchers. While the booking process can be a little daunting, you can refer to our step-by-step guide or head down to the various physical counters to redeem your vouchers.

With 39 attractions, 178 hotels and 91 tours operators eligible for SingapoRediscovers vouchers, it can be tough to narrow down the available options. Here are the best ways you can spend your SingapoReDiscovers vouchers and how we at DollarsAndSense are spending our $100 vouchers.

Maximise Your Vouchers By Using Them For Multiple Attractions And Subsidised/ Free Children Tickets For Family Outings

The $10 denominations and the subsidised ($10 off) tickets for children and youths actually make the SingapoReDiscovers (SRV) vouchers a very good option for multiple family excursions. Parents can bring their children to visit multiple attractions, as long as they have at least $10 in their SRV voucher balance. Potentially, you could bring your child out to visit 6 attractions and redeem the maximum 6 subsidised children tickets that every SRV voucher holder is entitled to.

For example, our writer Timothy and Deanna are planning to bring their children out for more than one family trip using the $100 vouchers.

To round it off and use the last $10, consider a cheap and interesting attraction.

Use The $100 Voucher To Spend On A Big Ticket Attraction For Yourself And/ Or Your Family

Alternatively, you can splurge on a more expensive family day out like our writer Dinesh who is planning a family trip to Universal Studios Singapore with his family in 2021.

Use The $100 SingapoRediscovers (SRV) Vouchers To Splurge On Something Out Of Your Ordinary

Speaking of splurging, you can also go all out and use the SRV vouchers for a special occasion and just indulge in something totally out of your usual comfort zone.

For example, I’ll be probably splurging on a luxurious staycation for my birthday in 2021 using the SRV vouchers.

Not All Singapore Attractions/ Deals Are Eligible For The $100 SingapoRediscovers (SRV) Vouchers

Do note that not all the attractions available on the 5 authorised booking sites, including Klook, are eligible for SingapoRediscovers (SRV) vouchers. You need to check that the attraction/ deal is indicated as SRV-eligible. If the attraction/ deal is eligible, you should be able to redeem your SRV vouchers during checkout.

Unfortunately, our writer (Ben)’s suggestion to “end 2020 with a smash” is currently not eligible for the SRV vouchers.

Group of 2 + VCR Electronics (30mins)

$80

Hopefully as more merchants come onboard the SRV programme, this attraction (and others) will be eligible before the end of the SRV redemption period, 31 June 2021.

Price Compare Across The Different Booking Sites

Unfortunately, pricing differentials exist for SRV-eligible attractions on the different booking sites. Take the example of the Singapore Zoo.

$41.90 for adult
$27.50 for child

Just because one site does not offer the attraction you want, it does not mean that it is totally unavailable for SRV. The variety of booking sites means that there are more choices but also more options for you to sieve through.

Redeem Over The Entire Validity Period

Finally, the SRV vouchers are valid until the end of June 2021. Due to safe distancing measures, many attractions are operating at reduced capacity while the lack of travelling options means that many more Singaporean are in the country instead of their usual year-end overseas holiday. Thus, expect to see crowds or sold-out tickets to popular attractions. If you have the option to do so, redeem your SRV vouchers next year instead of joining the crowds during the December school holidays.
