Gamers: start your engines. Black Friday is finally here, and we can expect deals on everything from cookers and coffee makers to TVs and tablets, but you may be more interested in deals on Sony's PS4 console. Single consoles and bundles are likely to be made part of the sale.

We'll be keeping this page updated with the best deals on PS4s as and when they are announced. We can also expect deals to be announced all weekend until Cyber Monday on November 27, which commonly sees a whole range of extra tech deals released.

If you're at a loose end as to which console you require, check out our dedicated PS4 Black Friday guide for all the breakdown of last year's deals and what we hope to see coming this year.

The main thing to know is the difference between a PS4 and a PS4 Pro - a PS4 Pro is improved, but played all the same games. Some games have specifically been updated to improve their graphics for the PS4 Pro, or will run at a higher or more stable frame rate on the PS4 Pro than a regular PS4. If you see "PS4 Slim" around - that's just a smaller, more compact PS4!

The best Black Friday PS4 deals

Sony PlayStation 4 Slim 500GB with Call of Duty: WW2 or Star Wars Battlefront 2, Gran Turismo Sport, Hidden Agenda, and Now TV 2 month subscription

Now £199.99 from Game

So far, this is the best PS4 deal we can find - both Call of Duty: WW2 and Star Wars Battlefront 2 can scratch a first-person shooter itch (although Call of Duty: WW2 has been more well-received by fans and critics alike), Gran Turismo Sport is a brilliant racing simulation game, Hidden Agenda is a perfect way to show off the console as a party game, and a Now TV subscription will enable some of the PS4's streaming capabilities. We'll update if we find anything better, but right now, this is it.

Sony PlayStation 4 Pro with FIFA 18 and Call of Duty: WW2

Separate selling price £348.98, now £299 from Argos

This deal isn't as obvious as others, as it comes up separately in searches and you've got to do a little digging into offers to find it. It is, though, almost certainly one of the best ways to make sure you've got two of the most popular multiplayer games from 2017 on your PS4 Pro. To see this offer with Call of Duty: WW2, just click the "View special offers" bundle to see Call of Duty: WW2 included. If you don't do that, it won't come with Call of Duty: WW2, but it still costs £299.99!

Sony PlayStation 4 Pro with Gran Turismo Sport, Fallout 4, Call of Duty: WW2

Separate selling price £477.96, now £299.99 from Currys PC World

PS4 Pro Call of Duty WW2 GT Sport Fallout 4
PS4 Pro Call of Duty WW2 GT Sport Fallout 4

In case you want two slightly less popular but also good games instead of FIFA 18, but for the same overall price, this bundle from Currys PC World is top-notch. Gran Turismo Sport (often called GT Sport) is a realistic racing simulator, Fallout 4 is a role playing game positing the idea of what if nukes were dropped on America during the 1950s, and Call of Duty: WW2 is a first-person shooter set during WW2. There's an array of games here, for a variety of tastes.

PlayStation VR headset with PlayStation Camera, VR Worlds, and Gran Turismo Sport

Was £349.99 RRP, now £249.99 from Very.co.uk

In case you've wanted to get to grips with virtual reality, this is a very strong starting point. You need to have a PS4 or PS4 Pro to go along with it, but VR Worlds and Gran Turismo Sport are great ways to introduce someone to the concept. The former is a series of games in a VR setting, while Gran Turismo Sport puts you in the driving seat, somewhat literally, in VR. You can also add on Skyrim, a fantasy RPG about exploring a land overrun by dragons, for £20 more.

PlayStation Plus 12-month subscription

Was £49.99, now £36.85 from Amazon

To access online multiplayer on a PlayStation console, you have to be subscribed to PlayStation Plus. This deal makes that just a little less hard on the wallet, and in return you'll get access to free games over the next year, as PlayStation Plus subscribers get free games for the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita as long as they're subscribed. They're often major, AAA titles, too, further sweetening that deal.

PlayStation Store games up to 60 per cent off

Available through official PlayStation Store

On the PlayStation store, games are having their prices cut. For those subscribed to PS+, the deals have already started, while those without have to wait until November 23. GT Sport is cut to £24.99, Need for Speed Payback is 40% off just over week after release, and Grand Theft Auto V is down to £21.99.

Overwatch - Game of the Year Edition

Now £24.99 from Amazon

One of the most popular first-person shooters from the past few years is also up for sale, down to £24.99. Overwatch itself is a multiplayer shooter where teams fight off against each other as absurd characters, like a space gorilla or giant robot. It's been one of the most well-received shooters as of late, not least because of the more friendly bright colours and lack of gore.
