Ah, promo codes. They’re just like that one colleague everybody has – always hovering around and taking up space when you don’t need them, only to vanish the moment they’re needed. SO annoying.
But you don’t have to refresh your inbox and scrape the internet for coupons, because most credit cards in Singapore already offer discount codes with popular online retailers. You can save up to 20% on sites like Lazada, Shopee and Zalora with the right credit card promo code.

Qoo10 is a black hole of bust enhancement products and random electronic appliances. If that’s your thing, Qoo10 has a longtime tie-up with Mastercard that lets you get $10 in coupons every Wednesday from 10am (get in early as there’s a limited number of redemptions weekly). Just check out your shopping cart with any Mastercard, and you can redeem the coupons straight away.
Note that it’s not a straight $10 off. Instead, you get a $2 coupon (min. spend $10) + a $3 coupon (min. spend $15) + $5 coupon (min. spend $35).
It’s even better if you use a Citi or Standard Chartered Mastercard, as these 2 banks work with Shopback to give you get additional cashback on your Qoo10 haul.

Almost every bank in Singapore has a tie-up with Lazada, so you’ll never have to pay full price on Lazada again! Typically it’s a 20% discount for your first Lazada purchase and a bit less for your subsequent ones. Note that some of these are limited to in-app purchases only, and, as always, redemptions are limited.
The best bank card to use for Lazada is probably Citibank’s as they have tie-ups that you can stack for maximum effect. Combine the Citi promo code with additional Shopback rebate, and sign up for LiveUp membership (it’s free for 2 months) to get the most out of your Citi card.

Just like Lazada, Shopee works with almost every bank to offer promo codes for new and existing shoppers. The discounts are about the same across each bank.
Again, Citibank appears best for Shopee as they have a Shopback rebate on top of the promo codes. BUT, you can obviously sign up for Shopback with any other credit card to enjoy the same discounts.

There are simply heaps and heaps of promo codes for online fashion retailer Zalora. Again, promotions are very similar so it’s not easy to say which card is best exactly. I’d say it’s a tie between Amex and UOB Lady’s Card for the top spot, with Standard Chartered following closely behind.
If you’re planning to buy $150 of items from Zalora, use either any American Express credit card or the UOB Lady’s Card for 23% off your order. For a minimum order of $120, Standard Chartered is a good choice as it gives you 20% off plus additional Shopback rebate on Wednesday. But of course, you can sign up for Shopback with any other credit card.

Not a lot of banks offer Amazon promo codes, surprisingly. To get discounts, sign up for Amazon Prime Now which gives you free delivery (min. order $40 for local items and $60 for international items), plus access to Amazon’s streaming movies and TV shows and a Twitch subscription.
Amazon works exclusively (to my knowledge) with Citibank to promote Prime Now membership in Singapore, and you can get a pretty sweet discount of $10 no matter what. Promo expires 31 May though, so hurry.

I love iHerb. It’s is a treasure trove of health food, supplements, healthy snacks and toiletries. Prices are always cheap on iHerb, but you can get an extra 10% off with UOB cards, plus 5% loyalty credit (which sticks in your iHerb account and can give you a discount off your next purchase). The minimum spend is US$100 so it makes sense to joint order with family and friends.
