Not sure what to watch? Need some inspiration? Well, you're in luck - as Disney Plus is here to the rescue with some of the best films around.

Disney Plus has a whole summer of blockbusters ahead - and older favourites that you might have missed, from animation to live action, from sci-fi to real life heart-stopping drama.

Here's our list of the best things to watch on Disney Plus...

For a summery, heartwarming and make-you-long-for-a-holiday tale, look no further than Luca. Set in a small town in the Italian Riviera, this unexpectedly cute animation is about a young boy (who’s actually a sea monster, bear with us on this one) whose big dreams lie beyond his home - but not too far. The tale of friendship, overcoming differences and being your authentic self makes for absolutely perfect viewing, as does the backdrop of delicious pasta, delicious gelato and a blissfully glistening Mediterranean sea.

One of Disney’s most iconic villains returns in this live-action prequel to the classic 101 Dalmatians - and it's one of the most anticipated films of the year. Emma Stone takes up the mantle of the supervillain, and the story takes us to 1970s London where the fur fanatic is starting out as a fashion designer known as Estrella. Dame Emma Thompson plays her boss Baroness von Hellman, and it's sure to be a real treat.

Hocus Pocus

Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy star as the spooky Sanderson Sisters in this wicked witch Halloween classic from 1993. With a sequel now confirmed on Disney Plus next year, what better time to catch up on the original? A true cinematic classic.

Mary Poppins Returns

A spoonful of sugar helps everything, right? The original supernanny returns to the Banks family several decades after her first journey to London, to help out with the next generation. Emily Blunt plays Mary, and Lin Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) plays Jack. Keep an eye out for Angela Lansbury's cameo. Perfect for the whole family (and any rainy Saturday afternoons).

Raya and the Last Dragon

This enchanting new animation begins in a world where humans and dragons once lived happily side by side - but an evil force wiped out the reptiles as they saved their human counterparts. Five hundred years later, the evil has returned, and it's on the shoulders of Raya (voiced by Kelly Marie Tran) to find the last surviving dragon and save the world. But it's not going to be that easy...

Tron Legacy

Olivia Wilde and Garrett Hedlund star in this sequel to the 80s videogame classic. Take a journey on a light cycle inside the mainframe computer, where Sam (Hedlund) gets pulled into while investigating the disappearance of his father 20 years ago. The computers are threatening to take over the real world - but will they succeed? Visually stunning and definitely worth a watch.

If you haven't caught the award-winning hip hop historical musical yet, why not? Watch the show everyone's been raving about for a slice of must-see action. Orphan Alexander Hamilton arrives in New York to work for George Washington, and goes on to become first Secretary of the Treasury of the US.

Ralph Breaks The Internet

What *really* happens inside the 0s and 1s of the world wide web? A LOT of fun, if this delightful animation is anything to go by. Video game characters Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope Von Schweetz are best friends, who travel to the internet to try and repair their game. Brilliantly observed and with incredible attention to detail.

Free Solo

This film follows professional rock climber Alex Honnold on his quest as he attempts the unthinkable; to conquer the first free solo climb of El Capitan's 900-metre vertical rock face at Yosemite National Park in the US. Breathtaking and heart-stopping in equal measure, and an absolute must-watch.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Arguably better than its other, more famous siblings, the dark, action packed Rogue One takes place just before A New Hope - giving us a bigger picture on what the rebels have been up to prior to what was our introduction to the Star Wars universe. It's a star-studded film, with Felicity Jones, Riz Ahmed and Forest Whitaker part of the brilliant cast.

Touching and super cute, this Day of the Dead-inspired film will make you laugh, smile, and weep uncontrollably. Little Miguel dreams of becoming a musician, but his grandmother has placed a ban on music in the household after his grandfather left the family to pursue a music career and never returned. But all is not what it seems, and Miguel sets out to find his talented abuelo. One of our absolute favourites.
