Best 5 Cards That Give You The Most Miles Per $1 Spent Overseas

1. Standard Chartered Visa Infinite Credit Card

Standard Chartered Visa Infinite Credit Card allows you to earn up to a solid 3 miles per $1 spent overseas. What's the catch? All you need to do is charge at least $2000 of eligible spending to your card within a statement cycle. The miles do not expire, though they'll be awarded in the form of 360° Rewards Points.

Under the current Standard Chartered 360° Rewards Programme, Standard Chartered Visa Infinite Credit Card cardholders earn 1 mile for every $1 (in local/foreign currency) spent with their card. Extending from this Rewards Promotion, those who meet the minimum spend amount of $2000 in a statement cycle will get to earn additional miles in the form of 360° Rewards Points as follows - additional 0.4 miles for every $1 spent in local currency; additional 2 miles for every $1 spent in a foreign currency.

Nevertheless, note that the annual fee of S$588.5 will be chargeable even in the first year (and subsequent years) as opposed to many other cards in the market that typically offer a first year fee waiver for the card.

Additionally, when you apply for Standard Chartered Visa Infinite Credit Card any time from now till 31 December 2016, you'll get to enjoy 35,000 miles or 25,000 miles plus $100 worth of Uber credits as a gift from Standard Chartered to you.
