BBR Holdings wins HDB contracts

By Romesh Navaratnarajah:BBR Holdings has secured two contracts to build 1,282 HDB units at Kallang Whampoa and Sengkang, reported The Business Times.Valued at S$182.9 million, the contracts were obtained through subsidiaries Singapore Piling & Civil Engineering and Singa Development.

The first contract will see 808 HDB units being built, and includes two blocks, a resident committee centre, roof garden, mini-market, education centre, precinct pavilion and link bridges. Construction works are expected to be completed in various phases by end-2015.

The second contract of 474 Sengkang flats includes the construction of seven blocks, a childcare centre, driveway, roof garden and service roads, which are set to be completed in April 2015.
