Aston Villa vs Man City prediction: How will Premier League fixture play out tonight?

Aston Villa face a tough task to get back into the top half of the Premier League table on Wednesday night, as they host Manchester City at Villa Park.

Three points for the home side would send them above both Leeds and Arsenal into ninth, though even if they fail to take a positive result they still have a game in hand on the two clubs. Jack Grealish remains sidelined through injury, however, which has hampered Dean Smith’s side’s attempts to remain attack-minded and creative in matches.

City lost in the FA Cup semi-final at the weekend and were beaten late on by Leeds in their most recent league fixture, but in between those defeats managed to reach the Champions League semi-finals with a win over Borussia Dortmund.
