Associated Banc-Corp: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) _ Associated Banc-Corp (ASB) on Thursday reported third-quarter earnings of $85.9 million.

The bank, based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, said it had earnings of 48 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 49 cents per share.

The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 49 cents per share.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $383.8 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $307.7 million, falling short of Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $321 million.

Associated Banc-Corp shares have declined slightly more than 3 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $24.53, a climb of 0.5 percent in the last 12 months.
