Arnall Golden Gregory Ranks Fourth (4th) for Deals by Volume in Pharma, Medical and Biotech League Table

·2-min read

ATLANTA, August 25, 2021--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AGG earned a notable ranking in Datasite’s half-year pharma, medical and biotech league table for legal advisors. The "Deal Drivers" publications are a series of spotlight reports from around the world, produced in partnership with Mergermarket, a leading M&A intelligence company.

AGG is the only Atlanta-based law firm represented in this league table, ranking fourth (4th) by deal volume with 29 deals with a disclosed value of $220 million. This ranking adds to the recognition that AGG’s Healthcare Private Equity industry team co-chairs and partners, Matt Brohm and Jeff Friedman, received earlier this year in Mergermarket’s individual league table for M&A lawyers.

AGG’s healthcare practice is national both in scope and in recognition and acclaimed as one of the largest healthcare practices in the country. Now, AGG has developed a first-class private equity transactions group to complement its nationally recognized healthcare practice. "We have an impressive team of healthcare transactional attorneys that specialize in working with private equity platforms pursuing consolidation in vertical markets like optometry, dentistry, veterinary, physical therapy as well as traditional medical practices," said Brohm.

"The footprint of our Healthcare Private Equity team continues to expand with the renewal of private equity roll-up activity in healthcare after demand built-up during the pandemic lockdowns," added Friedman. "AGG is quickly becoming one of the ‘go-to’ healthcare transactional practices in the country."

In addition to working with private equity platforms, AGG’s healthcare transactional partners represent health systems, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, hospice companies, behavioral health companies, laboratories, pharmacies, life science companies and a wide variety of other healthcare-related companies.
