Arena Minerals Announces Results of Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders

TORONTO, Dec. 01, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Arena Minerals Inc. ("Arena" or the "Company") (TSX-V: AN) is pleased to announce the results from its Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders held virtually on Monday, November 29, 2021 (the “Meeting”).

A total of 190,048,489 common shares of the Company were voted at the Meeting, either in person or by proxy, representing 51.58% of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company as at the record date.

Each of the following nominees set forth in the Company’s management information circular dated October 20, 2021, was elected as a Director of the Company to hold office.

At the Meeting, shareholders approved the reappointment of McGovern Hurley LLP as the auditors of the Company and authorized the Company’s Board of Directors to fix the auditors remuneration. Shareholders also re-approved the Company’s Stock Option Plan and ratified and approved the 10 :1 share consolidation.

Current cash position of the Company is $6.7 million CAD (2021 Q3: $2.18 million CAD).
