EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) _ Amber Road Inc. (AMBR) on Monday reported a loss of $2.6 million in its fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the East Rutherford, New Jersey-based company said it had a loss of 9 cents. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense, were less than 1 cent on a per-share basis.

The software maker posted revenue of $21.9 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $13.6 million, or 49 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $85.2 million.

For the current quarter ending in April, Amber Road expects its results to range from a loss of 4 cents per share to a loss of 2 cents per share.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $20.3 million to $20.9 million for the fiscal first quarter.

Amber Road expects full-year results to range from a loss of 6 cents per share to earnings of 4 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $88.7 million to $91.7 million.

Amber Road shares have increased 7 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $8.81, a climb of 28 percent in the last 12 months.
