Alstom wins 4 billion euro train contract in Germany

(Reuters) - Alstom has signed a 4 billion euro ($4.34 billion) contract with local rail passenger transport authorities go.Rheinland and Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr (VRR) in Germany.

The contract calls for the delivery of 90 Adessia Stream trains to operate on the S-Bahn Cologne network and maintenance over a period of 34 years.
