Along Eyzendy, Pablo Amirul produce first movie together

The duo collaborated with Hornbill World Sdn Bhd to produce "Last Kopek, Havoc!"

"Last Kopek, Havoc!" to be released in DVD and USB formats only.

11 Oct – Actors Along Eyzendy and Pablo Amirul are adding the title 'producer' to their respective resume it seems, as the duo are working together to produce an upcoming action comedy movie called "Last Kopek, Havoc!".

The movie is set to be produced under the Malayan Brotherhood Venture banner, the company set up by the two actors along with several of their friends. They will be working with Hornbill World Sdn Bhd for their first movie project.

"The project is a collaboration between the big names in the local movie industry. I am touched by the commitment given even though we realise that the movie is not as big as other movies in the market," said Pablo as quoted by Harian Metro.

Directed by Along and Reen Emran, the movie stars Johan Raja Lawak, Fezrul Khan, Wan Hanafi Su, Azad Jasmin, Saiful Apek, Soffi Jikan and more.

Pablo revealed that the movie, which was made on a budget of RM350,000, had to be shot with a minimal number of crew due to the restricted budget.

The "Kampung Drift" actor also shared that pre-production and filming have concluded last July.

Meanwhile, Along explained that their first movie will take a different approach compared to other movies, as it will not be screened in cinemas but will instead be released in the form of either DVD or USB.

"We do it a little differently by bringing the movie to the audience, instead of forcing the audience to come to the cinema."

The two are currently travelling through Malaysia, especially to rural areas and higher institutions.

Along also said that his side is planning to produce 50,000 copies of DVD to sell.

At the same time, they also encourage local companies to support their effort through the purchase of DVD and USB as part of their sell will be donated to those in need.
