Alam Maritim Clinches Petronas Carigali Contract

Shares Investment

  • Alam Maritim Resources has received a letter of award from Petronas Carigali to provide splash zone structural repair and maintenance.

  • The contract is for a period of two years effective from 8 June 2015, with an extension option of one year (up to 7 June 2018).

  • On risks associated with the contract, Alam Maritim said they were mainly operational risks such as accidents and delays due to human, equipment and logistic factors as well as weather condition.

Significance : On financial impact, Alam Maritim expects the contract to contribute positively to its earnings and net tangible assets for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2015 and beyond.
