Adobe Systems (ADBE) Stock Sinks As Market Gains: What You Should Know

Adobe Systems (ADBE) closed the most recent trading day at $276.14, moving -1.13% from the previous trading session. This move lagged the S&P 500's daily gain of 0.03%. Elsewhere, the Dow gained 0.28%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq lost 0.04%.

Prior to today's trading, shares of the software maker had lost 3.24% over the past month. This has lagged the Computer and Technology sector's gain of 2.03% and the S&P 500's gain of 2.25% in that time.

Investors will be hoping for strength from ADBE as it approaches its next earnings release, which is expected to be September 17, 2019. In that report, analysts expect ADBE to post earnings of $1.97 per share. This would mark year-over-year growth of 13.87%.
