Next week on Hollyoaks, Diane's behaviour starts to spark concern as she struggles with obsessive thoughts.
Elsewhere, Shaq finally reveals what he has been hiding, while Cher finds a new way to torment Mercedes.

1. Tony fails to notice Diane's struggles
Diane is struggling with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) following the trauma of Edward's reign of terror and his subsequent death.
Diane becomes convinced that the electricity in her house isn't safe and that her family are in danger. She urges Tony to call an electrician, but he fails to realise why she's so worried and brushes off her request.
2. Diane's worries escalate
A lightbulb blows at the Hutchinsons' flat, which causes Diane's worries to escalate as she fears that one of her lamps could catch fire.
Once again, Diane hides her inner turmoil from Tony and suffers in silence.
3. Diane cancels an important appointment
Diane cancels the appointment for her baby scan, leaving Tony shocked and confused by her behaviour when he finds out via a call from the hospital.
Diane explains that she doesn't want to attend the appointment, but will she confide in Tony with her reasons?
4. Dean makes a return
In the aftermath of George's shocking death, his ex-boyfriend Dean makes a mysterious return to the village. Nancy is suspicious and questions him over what he's up to.
After feeling unconvinced that she's getting the full story, Nancy persists with her mission to get the truth out of Dean.
Tony and Darren are frustrated by Nancy's fixation on this matter, arguing that her time would be much better spent checking on Diane, who's clearly struggling.
5. Diane finds herself in danger
Nancy takes the advice of Tony and Darren by paying a visit to Diane to check on her. Diane sees Nancy's presence as a threat to her family's safety, so quickly tries to get her to leave.
Once Diane is alone again, her obsessive thoughts overwhelm her and put her in danger.
6. Shaq impresses Luke
Shaq gets to work on selling a lorry load of dog beds and pillows at the Grand Bazaar.
Luke is left to watch and learn as he sees the success of Shaq's smooth-talking and easy sales technique.
Once Shaq has flogged the entirety of his stock in just one day, Luke thinks it might be beneficial to team up with the village newcomer. Shaq ends up presenting Luke and Cindy with a business opportunity.
7. Shaq reveals his secret
Shaq has been hiding something ever since he arrived in the village and the Maaliks face a new crisis when he finally reveals what it is.
Shaq has an emotional heart-to-heart with Misbah and promises to make things right after messing up. They promise that there will be no more secrets between them.
8. Cher's problems continue
Cher continues to receive hateful comments online, as the ongoing trolling storyline intensifies.
Mercedes has taken action by posting a response to the trolls, but Cher is angry with her for getting involved as it has only made matters worse. Cher's friends do their best to take her mind off things.
As the week continues, one of Cher's own social media posts also gets her into trouble.
9. Romeo fears Mercedes is pregnant with his baby
Mercedes tells Goldie that she thinks she might be pregnant, so decides to get a test.
When Goldie shares the gossip with Romeo, he's stunned as he reflects on his one-night stand with Mercedes and the possibility that – if she really is pregnant – he could be the father.
10. Cher stoops to a new low over Mercedes
When Mercedes receives some bad news, she's left in a reflective mood and goes through Gabriel's memory box. She also speaks to Cher about the tragic loss of her son, who was stillborn in 2015, and hopes that her stepdaughter will be understanding.
The heart-to-heart has the opposite effect as Cher steals Gabriel's memory box and starts gaslighting Mercedes.
11. Mercedes' award chances come under threat
The battle is on for the Businesswoman of the Year title. Marnie reckons she's a sure-fire winner, but Cindy is also feeling confident.
Mercedes is also keen to win, but as Cher's gaslighting campaign continues, she sadly becomes distracted from the competition.
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
