2. Have A Day Of Fun At An Amusement Park

Kids would definitely love to spend the day at Adventure Cove Waterpark, which has 7 thrilling water slides and Riptide Rocket, the first hydro-magnetic coaster in Southeast Asia. There's a ride for everyone!

Universal Studios Singapore is split into 7 movie-themed zones, complete with exciting rides and interesting attractions. Younger kids would enjoy character appearances and gentler rides in the Far Far Away and Madagascar zones.

The biggest water theme park in Singapore, Wild Wild Wet, has thrilling, gentle and kiddie rides. A perfect place to have fun on a sweltering hot day!

3. Go Kite-Flying

Marina Barrage, Singapore's biggest and most urbanised catchment, is most well-known for its status as a lifestyle attraction. The roof is perfect for kite-flying and is popular with kite-flying hobbyists. It's also a great spot to have a picnic!

Located on the waterfront, the wind at West Coast Park makes it a great spot for flying a kite. If your kids get bored quick, there's always the multiple playgrounds!

Another good place for kite-flying is Sembawang Park, which faces the straits of Johor. The resultant breezy conditions make it well-suited for kite-flying.

4. Saddle Up And Go For A Trot

At Gallop Stable, you and your kids can take up horse-riding lessons. Children over 3 years old can enjoy short pony rides. There's even pony feeding!

Adults and children can take up horse-riding lessons at the National Equestrian Centre. Kids from 3 to 5 years old can participate in a pony playgroup, during which kids will interest themselves in everything about ponies.

5. Meet The Animals

In between the Night Safari and the Singapore Zoo is the River Safari, Asia's first and only river-themed zoo. Kids will love the riverboat rides, the Giant Panda Forest and animal exhibits showcasing 10 distinct ecosystems.

The Night Safari is the world's first nocturnal zoo and is home to more than 2500 animals, some of which are of endangered species. Unlike the other conventional zoos and animal parks, kids will learn more about the nocturnal creatures in this atypical zoo.

Kids will delight in the countless animal exhibits, shows and feedings at the Singapore Zoo. There's even a dedicated area for children – Rainforest Kidzworld, which has a playground, Kampung House and farm animals.

6. Explore An Oceanarium

Besides zoos, children can also learn about marine animals. There are also adventures available that allow you and your children to experience swimming with dolphins or diving with sharks.

7. Visit A Nature Park

Kids can learn about our rich biodiversity and discover the importance of Singapore's green spaces at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, our first ASEAN Heritage Park. You might even spot shorebirds or waders during the migratory season as it is part of the East Asian-Australasian Shorebird Site Network.

The Singapore Botanic Gardens is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the main attraction being the National Orchid Garden. Children can find out more about our flora and fauna at the SBG Heritage Museum and CDL Green Gallery.

Take a stroll with your kids along Gardens By The Bay and enjoy the picturesque scenery of the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest, Supertree Grove, Children's Garden and the conservatories.

8. Experience A Different Climate

Take your kids to Snow City to have a taste of what winter feels like in sunny Singapore – indoors! Children will love the snow playground, storytelling corner and the adorable mascots.

9. Have A Taste Of Local Farm Life

At Farmart Centre, you and your kids can go on educational farm tours and learn more about farming in Singapore. Kids will delight in feeding the animals and getting up close to the adorable farm animals, like rabbits, hamsters and goats.
