0.1% dip in HDB resale prices in 2Q2017
Prices of resale HDB flats fell by 0.1% in 2Q2017, compared to a 0.5% decline in 1Q2017, according to data released by the HDB today.
The number of resale transactions rose 32.5% from 4,530 in 1Q2017 to 6,001 in 2Q2017.
The number of applications approved for subletting of HDB flats rose by 9.5%, from 9,981 cases in 1Q2017 to 10,929 cases in 2Q2017. As at end-2Q2017, there were 53,540 HDB flats being sublet, an increase of 0.3% over the 53,360 units in 1Q2017.
In August 2017, HDB will offer about 3,850 Build-To-Order (BTO) flats in Bukit Batok and Sengkang, and 1,394 unsold balance flats under the first Re-Offer of Balance Flats (ROF) exercise.
