| The investment seeks high level of current income with preservation of capital. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in a diversified portfolio of bonds and other debt obligations of varying maturities. It invests at least 65% of assets in bonds which are rated within the four highest grades, and up to 20% in bonds which are rated within the two highest grades, assigned by independent rating agencies.
