The majority of countries in which the fund invests will have sovereign ratings that are below investment grade or are unrated. Moreover, to the extent the fund invests in corporate or other privately issued debt obligations, many of the issuers of such obligations will be smaller companies with stock market capitalizations of $1 billion or less at the time of investment.
