| The investment seeks generation and accumulations of dividend income and secondary goal is long-term capital appreciation. The fund uses its corporate structure to create dividend income by using the fund's 70% deduction from federal income taxes for dividends received. The remaining taxable income is taxed to the fund at a maximum federal tax rate of 34%.
