The fund invests at least 65% of assets in municipal bonds and debentures that are rated within the three highest ratings categories assigned by a nationally recognized statistical ratings organization, or of comparable quality, at the time of purchase. It normally invests at least 80% of assets in municipal securities, the income from which is exempt from federal income tax.
