| The investment seeks high current income. The fund invests in debt securities, which include corporate bonds. It invests at least 80% of assets in lower-rated, high-yield corporate bonds. The fund normally invests in securities that are rated lower than BBB- and higher than CC+ by Standard & Poor's Corporation or lower than Baa3 and higher than Ca by Moody's Investors Services, Inc., or unrated securities judged to be of comparable quality by the management.
