Asset Backed Holdings (ABK, formerly Asset Backed Securities Ltd) is involved in investments, with an interest in Phosphate Resources, a company that mines for phosphate on Christmas Island, with customers in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Australia and New Zealand. The company is involved in the mining, processing and sale of phosphate rock and phosphate dust. In addition the company provides earthmoving, fuel and stevedoring services to other organisations on Christmas Island. This is currently the only major investment, following a decision to narrow the focus of the company.
