Its customers include companies in a range of industries, including manufacturers of automotive, aerospace, computer, electronic, defense, education, consumer, medical, and dental products. 3D Systems Corporation also serves original equipment manufacturers, government agencies, and universities that use its systems for research activities, as well as independent service bureaus that provide prototyping and manufacturing services to their customers for a fee. It sells SLA and SLS systems and related materials and services through its direct sales organization, sales agents, resellers, and distributors; and 3-D printers and related materials and services directly and through a network of authorized distributors and resellers.
