The Investments segment engages in the trading of equity securities, and holding of investments in venture capital funds and equity securities of various industries, such as information technology, wireless communications, software, semiconductors, medical devices and equipment, pharmaceutical drug development, nanotechnology, and specialty chemicals and materials industries. The company is also involved in the provision and supply of workers, and carbon consultancy services. It has operations primarily in Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, and the People’s Republic of China. The company was formerly known as SsangYong Cement (Singapore) Limited and changed its name to EnGro Corporation Limited in February 2005. EnGro Corporation Limited was founded in 1973 and is headquartered in Singapore.
