After spending a number of years working in Australia culminating in a leadership role with Telstra, Kelvin returned to Singapore to continue his successful corporate life. Here, he grew a local consultancy to be an award winning and leading agency in the Asia-Pacific region.
Under the backdrop of being the single breadwinner of a family with three young children, Kelvin took a brave move to leave his 6 figure salary job to co-found Frontier Optics Solutions with a bunch of talented local engineers to market local innovations.
He takes immense pride when pitching the “Innovated in Singapore” story to clients and strongly believes that local innovations can be world class too. Kelvin is currently helping a local mall and a warehouse of a foreign beer distributor to become the first in Singapore to use all LED lights, thereby reducing their carbon footprints significantly.
Kelvin is also rechanneling his income to bring better food that have minimal impact on the Earth to consumers. Kelvin has visited Dalat, Vietnam to source for good farming land to grow organic produce.
He hopes to help local farmers turn to organic farming to reduce the impact on the Earth and also to introduce more affordable organic products.
Kelvin is in the midst of organising a trip to Indonesia to explore ways in helping families living in the rubbish landfills to get access to better food.
