Biggest layoffs by investment banks this year

The Euro zone crisis has threatened the jobs of thousands of investment bankers around the world. Plummeting revenue from stock trading dragged down global investment banks' earnings in the first half of 2012, threatening job cuts.

A study by Roland Berger Strategy, suggests that investment banks could cut up to 75,000 jobs by 2017 with global revenue is set to fall by 15 percent this year.
