SiriusXM to broadcast entire World Cup tournament
SiriusXM to offer subscribers live access to all 64 matches of World Cup soccer tournament
NEW YORK (AP) -- SiriusXM satellite radio said it will broadcast all 64 matches of the 2014 FIFA World Cup live, beginning Thursday.
English-language broadcasts of all World Cup matches, which are produced by ESPN Radio, will air on SiriusXM channel 84. If two matches are going on at the same time, the second game will be broadcast on channel 85.
Another channel, 94, will offer 24-hours a day of news, talk, and analysis about the World Cup, which is the biggest sporting event on the planet.
SiriusXM is accessed through satellite radio, a SiriusXM Internet Radio App and at SiriusXM.com.
Shares rose 2 cents to $3.32 during midday trading.
